Is your 2nd grader excited to be entering 3rd grade? This is the perfect class to get your upcoming 3rd grader ready for 3rd grade. We will review reading strategies to prepare for more complex text. In this highly interactive reading course learners will learn strategies to improve or enhance their foundational reading skills. This course will engage learners by using a large amount of visual anchor charts along with teacher modeling and peer discussion. Digital slides and reading passages will be used to meet a variety of learning modalities.  I believe in meeting learners at their current academic level and providing an encouraging learning environment to facilitate meaningful learning.
