Welcome to the final part of our five-class series on safety with strangers and tricky people. It is highly recommended that learners take these classes in order as they progressively build knowledge and understanding. To accommodate different schedules, we offer the same content in two formats: "camp style" with scheduled sections and a self-paced FLEX-style course that has no live classes. If one of those formats are preferred you can enroll through the following links: multi-day/camp https://outschool.com/classes/super-safety-camp-strangers-and-tricky-people-and-being-the-boss-of-my-body-bu9zPfb7?usid=VbdChdTp&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link FLEX https://outschool.com/classes/safety-strangers-and-tricky-people-io1xxgIh?usid=VbdChdTp&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link In this series, learners have been guided through various information and scenarios to enhance their awareness and understanding of safety with strangers and tricky people. Part 5: But what about... -In this class, we will be -Reviewing the content covered throughout the course, highlighting the main clues and safety rules discussed with each trick. -Exploring different scenarios related to situations involving strangers. This includes discussing encounters with strangers that are parents of kids at school or extracurricular activities, friendly store clerks, and friendly strangers with cute dogs, among others. This course has been created to support families in addressing these challenging topics. As we conclude the series, it is important to remind students that their trusted adults may adjust or add additional safety rules based on their unique circumstances. Families and trusted adults know best how to keep them safe. After the class, students will have the opportunity to complete their tricky people detective notebooks. If you have any questions about this course or would like to provide feedback on other topics you would like to see covered, please feel free to reach out. I appreciate your participation and commitment to fostering safety awareness among learners.

Please read my class description thoroughly to understand how I approach this topic and the specifics discussed.
I take great care in making the topic fun and not scary. Empowering my learners to understand that we prepare for safety in a variety of areas in life "just in case".
There will be no discussion of inappropriate touching of private parts--rather a guide for parents to discuss these things as they see fit in their own way (see the link provided in the class description).
In this series, I discuss touching in a basic way (kiss, hug, sitting too close, touching leg, sitting on someone's lap, and tickling). I highly encourage trusted adults to follow up this class with a conversation about the possibility of tricky people being people they know. This series opens the door for you to have a chat with your learner(s) about appropriate physical touch.
