Let's learn AP Calculus! Part 6: Applications of Integration

In Part 6 we will focus on using integration to solve real-world applications through the following objectives:
Week 1. Connecting position, velocity, and acceleration
Week 2. Using accumulation functions and definite integrals in context
Week 3. Finding the area between curves
Week 4. Volumes with cross sections
Week 5. Volumes with the disc method
Week 6. Volumes with the washer method
*Students currently taking Calculus or who have previously taken Calculus can enroll in Part 6 without Parts 1-5*

Each 55-minute class will follow a similar structure:
Warm up with an open-ended question that introduces the core concept
A hands-on activity to explore the concept and build understanding from the student perspective
Structured notes with examples led by the teacher
Practice problems including AP Practice questions that can be completed in class or independently
