スペリングコース2: 2年生スペリング

Boost your child's spelling confidence with this interactive 36-week second-grade spelling course! Each week, students will explore phonics-based spelling patterns through fun games, engaging activities, and writing tasks. Lessons are structured to include:

✔️ Interactive games & spelling challenges
✔️ Writing activities to reinforce spelling skills
✔️ A weekly quiz to track progress

This course follows the National Common Core Standards for Second Grade Language and English-Language Arts. Students will develop strong spelling skills, build confidence in word patterns, and improve writing fluency.

Each class will be structured as follows:

1. Copy words of the week 
2. Quiz on last week's words
3. Spelling tips
4. Interactive spelling activities or games
5. Writing tasks

The teacher will screen share a Google Slide show. No outside accounts or access to websites will be needed. 

Learners should come to class with a dedicated spelling notebook and something to write with. 

Students will be encouraged to write the spelling words via interactive activities several times throughout the class.  Teachers and students will engage in discussion and verbal spelling during each class.  Participation will be highly encouraged by the teacher and through the activities.
