スペルとライティングの指導-ヘルプ

This weekly, private one on one spelling class is for students to learn and improve their spelling skills and making sentences using spelling words. Make them confident in spelling, writing and in turn will improve their reading skills. 

Our first class we will get to know each other have comfortable and relaxed conversations. I will assess their spelling levels by starting out with Zoom whiteboard and let them spell out different levels of spelling words for me. This is just a simple assessment to see where we should start at we can always move up or move down a level. I want to make spelling and writing fun, positive and as relaxed as possible. We will work on putting spelling words into sentences which will help with writing skills. 

This class is for extra help with spelling and writing spelling words in sentences. We will learn proper sentences (sentences with 15-20 words in them), commas, capitalization etc.. I have word list however, if you have a set of words that your child needs extra help with (weekly spelling list for public school, homeschool, etc.,) please let me know and I can base the weekly lesson on those words. Parent input and communication is very important to me so we can work together for your child's education. 

Learners will need to bring a notebook and a pencil/or a white board to class with them or we can use Zoom whiteboard. They will write down their spelling words for the week. Each week your leaner will get a new set of spelling words to practice. 

Subscription based classes are a weekly ongoing class you are charged every Sunday for the upcoming week, feel free to subscribe and unsubscribe at any time.

The first half of class we will write out our spelling words and practice them together. Learn how to break down words to spell them easier. 

We may take a break in between the first half of class and second half if I see the student needs a break these breaks are used for:

 -sharing any interest with me examples are some students will share a drawing, art, their hobbies, their family pets or just chatting. 
 
-water/snack/bathroom breaks 

The second half of class we will then practice writing our spelling words into sentences, practice capitalizing, commas and ending marks. We will go over any words students are having trouble with, and have a quick spelling quiz at the end. 

These private sessions are student driven I can go down a level or up a level in spelling words. We will work on the spelling and writing skills that your child needs to work on. I will teach students how to break down words in to pieces or smaller words to help them become confident spellers.
