From enchanted spells to cauldron brews to animal magic to gaining sight word powers, each lesson helps unlock the power of spelling through fun, movement, and wonder.

A magical spelling adventure focused on phonemic awareness through play, creativity, and sound magic!

✨ Week of 9/8/25: Wizard Whispers – Beginning Sounds Magic
Learners will explore the first sounds in words using playful activities and interactive games. We’ll sort sounds, wave our magic wands, and create silly starter spells to strengthen beginning sound recognition.

✨ Week of 9/15/25: Potion of Parts – Blending Sounds Like a Sorcerer
It’s time to mix up some word magic! Learners will practice blending individual sounds to form words using cauldrons, bubbles, and silly creatures. This class boosts confidence in hearing and reading whole words.

✨ Week of 9/22/25: Slice the Spell – Segmenting Sounds Like a Spell Slicer
Get your spell swords ready! In this class, learners will break words apart into individual sounds, helping them build strong spelling and decoding skills. We’ll clap, slice, and duel our way through sound segments!

✨ Week of 9/29/25: Wizard Word Lab – Create Your Own Sound Spells!
Time to become full-fledged Word Wizards! Learners will blend and segment sounds to invent their own magical words, then share them with the class. A celebration of creativity, confidence, and all they’ve learned!

OCTOBER:
🎭 Giggle Glyphs – Spelling with Silliness
Welcome to the land of laughter and rhymes! Learners craft zany words, build word families, and play wild games with rhyming riddles and silly sound combinations. The sillier, the better!

NOVEMBER:
🦸‍♀️ Heroic Word Wizards – Sight Word Powers Activate!
Fly into action as a spelling heroic word wizard! Learners use high-energy games, dramatic gestures, and word potions to master high-frequency sight words. Capes and creativity encouraged!

DECEMBER:
🐾 Spell & Scamper Safari – Animal Moves & Magical Words
Slither, stomp, and swing into spelling success! This wild safari adventure combines kinesthetic learning with animal-themed word spells to help reinforce spelling patterns in a fun, physical way.

JANUARY:
🌈 Rainbow Craft – Colorful Spelling Charms
Get your magical art kits ready! In this hands-on, creative session, learners use rainbow colors, textures, and movement to turn spelling words into sparkling visual spells.

FEBRUARY:
🧪Spelling Potions & Word Brews – Mix, Stir, and Spell!
Welcome to the Secret Spelling Apothecary, where young spellers become Word Alchemists! Learners mix up magical potions and mysterious brews using letters, sounds, and spelling patterns. With bubbling cauldrons, silly spells, and secret ingredients, spelling becomes a mystical adventure in creativity and learning.
