“Speak Up & Shine: Online Public Speaking for Kids (Ages 8-13)” Does your child have big ideas but feel shy speaking up? Or maybe they love talking and want to sharpen their skills? “Speak Up & Shine” is the perfect online public speaking class designed to help kids gain confidence, improve communication, and have FUN while speaking! Through interactive games, storytelling, debates, and exciting speech challenges, kids will learn: ✔️ How to speak clearly and confidently ✔️ The secrets of body language and eye contact ✔️ How to think fast with impromptu speaking games ✔️ Ways to persuade, inform, and entertain an audience ✔️ Techniques to overcome stage fright Each week, students will engage in fun speaking activities and receive positive feedback in a supportive environment. The course ends with a Final Speech Showcase, where kids will present their best work and celebrate their progress! I am an Air Force Veteran - I've spent a large part of my career speaking as the President of Community Service Affairs on the base I was stationed at as well as travelling with my unit. On the civillian side - I went to college and had a career in Hospitality where public speaking has a HUGE impact in my work environment. From speaking at conventions, to working within the sales department at many hotels greeting VIP clientele and building connections with as many guests as possible.
