スペイン語読解 - Lectura comprensiva en español

Bienvenidos al Club de Lectura en Español!  This Spanish reading club fosters a love of reading and builds language skills in students aged 8-12.  Through activities and texts.  Students will explore the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. I focus on vocabulary building, fluency and critical thinking.

What will be taught?
This club focuses on improving Spanish reading comprehension skills, vocabulary and fluency.

What topics will I cover?
I will explore a variety of themes and topics through our readings including: friendship, family, animals, adventures, culture, traditions and imagination.

How is my class structure?
Each session will typically include:
1. Warm up (10 minutes):  Review of the previous session's reading or a quick vocabulary game.
2. Reading (20 minutes): Interactive reading of a selected text, followed by discussion. Every week, parents will receive an email with the reading that we will using in class.
3. Vocabulary (10 or 15 minutes):  Explore new words and phrases.
4. Wrap-up (5 minutes): Review of key concepts.

My teaching style is interactive, encouraging participation and creating a supportive and fun learning environment.
