📌 Spanish 1 for Kids Part 2

🌟 Welcome to my Spanish class for Beginners. My program is designed to provide your student with a solid foundation in the Spanish language and help them achieve fluency.
I use a conversational approach to language learning, which means that my students are encouraged to use the language in context from the very beginning of the course. This approach has been proven to be effective in helping students develop their language skills quickly and naturally.

In this 10 week class, students will learn the basics with interactive activities and games that will give the students the confidence to continue with my other Spanish programs. We will practice the pronunciation as a group and then I will ask students to repeat the words giving each student individual attention and meeting their level. It will be a bilingual class Spanish/English, with lots of Spanish emphasis.

There will be an audio with all the pronunciation for students to practice after class, as well as a PDF with vocabulary and a written exercise to complete.
If a student can not attend a class, the audio and PDF will provide all the tools to practice the concepts and the pronunciation taught during each class. ( Please contact me to provide other alternatives if your child can not attend a class).
**During the last 5 to 10 minutes of class, students will review the vocabulary using interactive games from: "Educaplay", "Blooket" and other apps. Students Do Not need to create accounts. Students need Parental Permission to access Blooket.com/play and Game.educaplay.com to use a Game ID that I will provide, or  use the link that I will include in the chat.

The routine of the class will be as follow:
1. Greetings
2. Review of vocabulary
3. Introduction of new vocabulary and repetition
4. Introduction of the grammar structure
5. Student practice
6. Game/ Activity

💫Students will learn:
• Days of the week
• What day is today?
• What day is tomorrow?
•What day was yesterday?
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will be able to say and write the days of the week and
sentences with today, tomorrow and yesterday.

⭐️Week Two:
💫Students will review:
•  Family members
• Parts of the house
• The verb "To BE " to indicate location
• Days of the week
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: students will be able to say sentences explaining where are their family members during the week.


⭐️ Week Three:
💫Students will Learn:
• Months of the year
• Which is this month, last, next? 
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will learn how to say and write the months of the year.

⭐️  Week Four:
💫Students will Learn:
• Vocabulary related to the weather
•  How is the weather in your city?
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will learn how to express how the weather is.

⭐️  Week Five:
💫 Students will Learn:
• The seasons
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will be able to say and write the seasons and indicate the months for 
each season.

💫Students will Learn:
• Expressions describing the weather during each season
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will be able to say and write the weather for each season or month of the year.

⭐️  Week Seven:
💫Students will Learn:
•  Winter  clothing
•  Singular and plural
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will be able to identify articles of clothing

⭐️  Week Eight:
💫Students will Learn:
• Colors
• Using the expression:
    * es de color
    * son de color
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will be able to describe the color of the
articles of clothing.

⭐️  Week Nine:
💫 Students will learn:
•  Spring clothing
•  Singular and plural
🕹️ Students will review using activities and games
📌Learning Objective: Students will be able to identify Spring clothing 


⭐️  Week Ten:
💫 Students will learn:
• How to make the question:
What color is it? What color are they?
💫 Students will review
•  Vocabulary related to clothing
• vocabulary related to colors
🕹️ Students will play games
📌Learning Objective: Students will be able to review the concepts 
and get ready for the next section.

Learning Spanish can be very beneficial for kids. Here are some reasons why:

***All material will be presented via Canva and screen shared by the teacher. 
*****CLASS RECORDING POLICY : I do not share recordings of my group classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners (many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to videos that include their child and many students feel embarrassed when other classmates can watch them making mistakes). If your learner can not attend a meeting contact me and I will provide an alternative video or a 20 min session to learn the concepts of the day.
