Join Miss Mackenzie in this 10-week self-paced course where we will learn about, draw, and explore different social studies lessons! Each week, we will learn about a different social studies concept through pre-recorded lessons and interactive activities. Each week I have a pre-recorded video where I provide a detailed slideshow and engaging lesson. Each pre-recorded video is approximately 12-25 minutes long and ends with a drawing activity relating to the lesson. I also provide games or activities each week via Nearpod.com, and review worksheets to help learners retain and review the week's information. I believe learners learn best and retain the most information when they are having fun. I aim to keep all of my lessons engaging and upbeat! Learners and parents can message me any questions or concerns they have at any point. I try my best to respond to all messages within 24 hours. --Course Layout-- There will be no live meetings in this course. Video lessons will be provided weekly for ten weeks that will include that week's information along with Nearpod modules and worksheets. I will provide pre-recorded video lessons that are 12-25 minutes long, and learners are able to pause and resume as needed. Learners can post their completed drawings or worksheets in the classroom page. Each week's material should take learners anywhere from 30-45 minutes to complete. --Weekly Schedule-- Pre-recorded videos and modules will be posted weekly. --Learner and Teacher Interaction-- I will provide the video lessons and Nearpod modules each week, so learners can complete them at their own pace. Learners are welcome to post their drawings, notes, or activities in the classroom page after completion. I will respond to each post and provide feedback.

This week we will discuss the differences between the past, present, and future. We will also take a deeper look into life in the 1920's, and the similarities and differences between then and now. レッスン 2:

This week we will learn about various direction words, how they're used, and the differences between relative locations and absolute locations. レッスン 3:
Supply and Demand
This week we will learn all about supply and demand, and relate it to real-life examples. レッスン 4:
Goods, Services, and Jobs
This week we will learn about the differences between goods and services, and discuss real-life jobs that people in a community can have. We will also discuss whether specific jobs create goods or are doing a service. その他の情報

Hi friends! My name is Miss Mackenzie. Welcome to my profile!
The classes that I love to teach are social studies, geography, and circle time for young learners!
I graduated from Indiana University in 2019 with my bachelors degree in Allied Health Sciences. I worked as an ABA Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician for over 3 years. I worked primarily with elementary aged kiddos on the autism spectrum! I have been teaching online since 2021 and love every minute of it.
My teaching philosophy includes setting my learners up for success, as well as having fun in the classroom! I like to utilize games, activities, and art. I want each student to succeed and feel safe when I am their teacher! I truly believe that learners learn best when they are having fun. This is why each of my classes feature some sort of drawing or sharing activity.
I absolutely love being a mom and spending time with family! I have a three year old daughter, a one year old daughter, and a fur baby (a four year old silver Labrador Retriever.) I'm from the Midwest and I love camping, boating, and pretty much anything outdoors!レビュー
