3 年生のための社会科 - パート 1 - 社会科の 1 学期

In this fun and entertaining class that meets live each week, learners will explore different social studies themes, including history, geography, economics, and civics (government).  Each week throughout the semester will have a different social studies topic that incorporates one of the themes of social studies.  

Learners can expect to learn about world geography, map skills, climates, people that made the world better, and economics.  Multiple viewpoints will be used throughout the course.

Live classes begin with a fun question or riddle to engage the class.  Storytelling and activities are used throughout the live class to keep the learners engaged.  Learners will see primary and secondary sources through videos, slides, audio recordings, and pictures.  The class ends with a review game!

Along with the live classes, students will receive a homework packet at the beginning of the week on Monday to complement the live classes.  Learners will receive a fill-in-the-blank activity, writing prompt, multiple choice activity, or other activities for homework each week.

Economics Theme
Week 13:  We Buy and Sell Things - Learn about markets!
Week 14:  Choices in a Free Market - Explore supply and demand!
Week 15:  Using Money Wisely - Learn why people and businesses save money!
Week 16:  Trading Globally - Explore what things are traded around the world!
