十代の若者のためのソーシャルスキル - より良いコミュニケーションと自信のためのツール

Students will gain knowledge about social skills and interacting and engaging in conversations others.    Classes will include discussion, questions and critiques of videos of interactions.  
Class 1:  Students will learn about the importance of the following:
Facial expressions, eye contact, posture, tone of voice, mannerisms, personal space, and gestures.  Learners will also be taught how to improve self-esteem and gain confidence. 
     
Class 2:  Students will be encouraged to share positive characteristics and anything that makes them feel proud of themselves. We will discuss verbal and nonverbal communication and practical ideas to increase good social skills.  Students will learn ways to practice small talk with others.  

This class is instructional. There is limited interaction between learners.  Students are encouraged to answer questions and participate in the class.  The class is not a social club.  Students will not be doing practice during the class, but will be encouraged to practice after the class with information on the best scenarios to practice what they have learned.
