このクラスで学べること

This class has no end date! We cycle through topics every 48-50 weeks, but no lesson is ever repeated. Instead, I find new and fun ways to teach familiar topics and add new ones as needed. This keeps things fresh, engaging, and enjoyable, so your learner can stay in the class FOREVER! 😊

When should you start?
My suggestion is NOW, or whenever you're ready! There's no "behind" or "lost" in this class, I promise.

If you're looking for an engaging, fun class that builds your learner’s confidence, you've come to the right place. Social Skills and Character Building for 4-6-year-olds introduces important topics to help your learner grow in their "awesome." 🌟

I also offer this class for 7-9-year-olds!

Here’s how the class is structured:
🚀 The First 10 Minutes:
Each student takes a turn sharing something they're excited or proud of. This isn't just "show and tell"—it's an opportunity for your learner to practice speaking confidently, listening to others, showing patience, and taking turns. It’s intentional and developmentally important.

🌱 Let’s Learn Something New:
Each week, we discuss a new topic related to character-building, social skills, or social-emotional learning. I introduce the topic with fun slides and relatable situations featuring my “character friends.” We model important skills like problem-solving, communication, empathy, assertiveness, and curiosity. After the discussion, students get to practice what they’ve learned.

At the start of each week, I post a class message to give you a preview of what your learner will be discussing. I also provide optional class prep, weekly handouts, and tips for grown-ups to connect with their learner on the topic.

With years of experience working with children, I’ve developed a way to break down tough topics into lessons that stick. Below is a sample list of topics we cover, along with the schedule for the next four weeks. I like to allow creative freedom, so I may take extra time on certain topics or add new ones! If there's a topic you'd love to see added, feel free to reach out.

I hope to see your learner in class soon! 🌟

I have a degree in elementary education and have been working with kids through teaching, coaching, and childcare for over 15 years. I have extensive experience and expertise working with ESL learners. Also, I am raising three boys of my own ( ages 1, 5 & 8). I am often inspired to create classes that cover subjects I find important in my own parenting journey. I am a lifelong learner and an avid reader. To support my curriculum development I dedicate significant time to reading, listening, and learning about the most current research on child development, teaching, and parenting.
