Social Skills and Friendship 

 No End Date -  Fresh, new, and fun topics each week based on student interests

This class is designed to be based on the interests of you child! Children are naturally curious and eager to learn and this class aims to expand their mind in new ways each week. Each week, This class discusses meaningful, developmentally appropriate topics based on the interest of the student, so no lesson is ever seen twice. Every week, we will discover something new and exciting  while building important social-emotional skills and habits.

Drop in for the day or stay as long as you like. It's flexible learning on your time.

Social Skills and character Building is learned through fun games and hands on activities  to help your child grow into their best self while learning key skills for interacting with others and developing empathy, communication, and resilience. 

This class is perfect for young learners, neurodivergent learners, homeschool families and ESL students

 How this class will run:
First 10 Minutes: Self-Expression & Public Speaking- Each child gets a turn to share something about themselves or what makes them happy. This gives them a chance to reflect on things each week.This is also a wonderful opportunity for them to practice speaking with confidence, listening attentively, and showing respect while engaging with peers.

Learn & Practice New Skills Every Week: Each week, we dive into a new social-emotional topic, using fun games, stories, and relatable situations" Through passionate discussion and practice, we will cover skills like:

Problem-solving
Communication
Empathy
Assertiveness
Active listening
Curiosity

This class is based around student need/ interests so they are subject to change.

Week of June 1- Conflict: Understanding Different Perspectives
Week of June 7- Resolving Conflict: Cool Down & Communicate
 Week of June 14-Resolving Conflict: Calm our bodies  & Use active listening 
 Week of June 21-Resolving Conflict: What To Do When Others Don’t Want to Fix Things
Week of June 27- Standing Up For Myself: Recognizing When I Need to Speak Up
