Welcome to singing club! In this weekly ongoing class, students will learn the fundamentals of vocal technique, musicianship, and performance skills in a casual club environment. Each week, we will engage in a variety of vocal warm-ups, rhythm and/or solfege activities, and learn to sing a new song. Pop, folk, Disney, and other genres may be featured in the repertoire from week to week, and we will focus on a chorus or other short excerpt from the song. Students will have the opportunity to practice and perform the excerpt and receive encouraging and constructive feedback. Additionally, weekly activities may include music games, listening activities, and other exercises to build skills and knowledge relevant to singing and musicianship skills.
