シンガポールディメンションズ数学6年生夏期講習/プレビュー

Class Experience: This is a 2x/week class that reviews the entire curriculum for 6th grade. It is fast paced but we fit in a lot of review. 

This class will cover the major topics of Singapore Dimensions Grade 6. The text is not necessary as it will be on screen during class. 

If you would like to purchase the practice workbook, the materials are listed in the "Supply List" section.  Some of these pages will be uploaded each week to practice what we learn in class.

Classroom rules:
We will annotate on the book pages via zoom, however they will need to write their own work on scrap paper or in a notebook.

Participation is mandatory during class. I prefer cameras to be on so that your student can be actively involved in class, but I will not enforce this myself as it can take up valuable class time. Active participation is directly related to learning so I feel it is important in an online classroom to be able to see the student and make sure they are engaged. 

Zoom features: 
Mute - Please make sure your student knows how to use the mute feature of zoom. They should remain muted unless they are answering a question verbally. This helps to eliminate background noises from interrupting the learning.
Chat -Students may use the chat box for lesson related material only.

Class time:
There is a lot of material to cover and only meeting twice a week we will move quickly. We may not complete EVERY problem in the book, but if I notice your student could use extra practice on a skill I will contact you and send you suggested practice problems.
