In this 13 session fun, musical ongoing class, which will meet on various days, students will learn songs to help them remember some basic English concepts and grammar. Studies show that by putting ideas to music, they are remembered better. We will learn a song (or two), repeat it several times, then practice the skill or concept covered by the song by looking at additional examples. --Session One: Eight parts of speech --Session Two: Nouns-- -Session Three: Pronouns --Session Four: Verbs -- Session Five: Synonyms, antonyms Session Six: , Homonyms -- Session Seven: Prefixes and suffixes Session Eight:Punctuation marks --Session Nine: Similes, metaphors, personification ( figurative language) --Session Ten: Adjectives that compare --Session Eleven: Four types of sentences Session Twelve: Adjectives that compare --Session Thirteen: Four types of sentences -
