This 2-week class meets twice a week and will teach learners how to maximize imagination through songwriting. There will be some parts of a song and basic musical concept lessons, however, the main focus of this course is finding fun and joy in writing. I want learners to walk away feeling empowered to make their dreams and ideas into songs. Learners will learn how to use stream of consciousness and imagination exercises/prompts to do just that! Learners should walk away from this course with at least two completed songs and knowledge of how to start new ones.
