In this book club we will be getting silly with some of my favorite books and stories! The class begins with a silly joke (or two if your learner wants to share!) and then we dive into our book. After the book we will either learn a fun silly song or we will play a silly game based on the book. I look forward to laughing along with your little ones! The month of October will go as follows: October 1-4 Creepy Pair of Underwear By Aaron Reynolds Students will read the book and design their own underwear! The creepier and sillier the better! Students will utilize Nearpod link for this one. October 6-11 Creepy Carrots By Aaron Reynolds This read aloud is sure to bring some laughs! We will be reading this classic aloud and then making our own Creepy Carrots! For this one your learner will need orange, white & green construction paper and a black marker. October 13-18 The Twisted Witch and Other Spooky Riddles by David A. Adler and Spooky Riddles by Lillian Moore Does your reader love jokes and riddles? These books are sure to bring a smile to their faces! Practice your stand up comedy and tricky your friends with these great jokes! October 20-25 Little Shop of Monsters by RL Stine and Marc Brown Two classic beloved authors team up for the zany fun story! Your learners will love the interactive elements of this book and then we will use Nearpod to draw our very own monsters. October 27-31 Skeleton Cat By Kristyn Crow Kids will love this fun musical kitty as he rises to stardom! Learners will be making their own cool beats during class today!

This book club is open to ALL learners! As a special education teacher I am well versed in accommodations needed for your student to access my club so please reach out with any unique needs your learner may have!

This class is full of silly stories and so at times the humor may involve silly things like underwear, tummy troubles, or stinky diapers!

While not every class will have drawings, I do as that your learner have a peice of paper and things to draw with on hand!
