Hello! Thank you for your interest in Silly Sentence Parts Self-Paced Class! My name is Kristi Robertson. In this nineteen-week flexible schedule asynchronous class, students will learn about 22 parts of speech through an asynchronous self-pace class in a fun and entertaining way! Assignments: In each lesson we will study a different part of speech which will consist of two assignments: 1. EdPuzzle Video(s) (either one or two per week) 2. Parts of Speech Quiz The EdPuzzle videos are short (2 - 4 minutes) Loom videos in which I read a silly book about the part of speech we are studying for the week. The EdPuzzle videos have built-in comprehension questions throughout the video that the students will answer. The Parts of Speech Quizzes are Google Form quizzes where students will test their learning comprehension of the part of speech we study for the week. Communication, Engagement, and Interactivity: The primary means of communication between the students and me will be through posting messages and discussion questions in the discussion thread in the Outschool Classroom tab. Students should check this thread daily to see announcements, messages, and questions. Any questions the students have may be posted here or sent to me in a private message. The digital assignments are extremely engaging and require the students to have hands-on digital interactivity in each. Again, thank you for your interest in the class and I look forward to having your child in my online classroom! ~~~ Kristi
