In this weekly class, we will read short sentences based on sight words that are easy to read and memorize. There will be visual cues and oral practice to help learners recognize patterns in sight words. We will use these words to create funny sentences that will help us remember the words. We will practice the foundations of reading by learning the sounds each consonant and vowel make together. The 25 minute, interactive class will include rhymes, videos, jokes, and other ways to make learning English fun! If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me! In that time, I worked with students on their reading, organization, and grammar skills.I have been with VIPKid, an online ESL teaching program, for 3 years. I have been with Magic Ears, another ESL teaching program, for 6 months. In this time, I have learned to elicit total physical response while engaging young learners, teaching curriculum based on learning English as a second language.
