特別なニーズのためのショー＆シェア

This is a show and share class tailored to students with autism and special needs.  Many children with autism have very fascinating interests that motivate them to talk!  In this class, students will enjoy being able to share their unique interests including books, toys, games, collections, art work, music, maps and creations with others!  Students are encouraged to bring whatever makes them happy!  Learners will take turns sharing with others.  Students will also be encouraged,  and assisted when needed,  with asking and answering questions.  This class is a  fun, social environment in which we will be working on turn taking, asking appropriate questions, listening and speaking skills, as well as making connections with new friends.  Students are encouraged to bring 2 or 3  items to class each week. The topic each week is led by the items that the students choose to share which will help initiate conversation including comments and questions.
