In this 25 minute class, your child will learn 11 basic shapes in an exciting engaging setting that promotes conversation and participation. The students will be introduced to each shape through a fun slideshow. They will use their counting skills as well as their color recognition skills to discuss the shapes. Shapes are everywhere! The goal for the students is not only to recognize the shapes in an educational setting, but also everyday life. We will have conversations about each shape and try to spot the them in the slideshow and in our homes at the end of class. I will encourage students to participate and have fun while learning. My teaching style is upbeat, inviting, and full of conversation extension. I am looking forward to meeting your child and providing an uplifting, encouraging, learning experience!

Hi there! Welcome to my Outschool profile! My name is Molly! I live in Tennessee with my husband and our sweet pup, who loves to make special guest appearances in my classroom. In college, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis. For the last seven years, I have worked in a classroom teaching environment. While in college, I worked as an assistant teacher in a therapeutic education environment designed to help students build the necessary skills to thrive in a classroom environment. After college, I began working at a preschool where I have served as both a teacher and director. Over the last year, I have also taken up online ESL teaching.
Through these experiences, I have developed a passion for creating a fun, engaging classroom environment where children are excited to learn. In my classroom, you can expect your child to learn fundamentals while singing, dancing, and having fun. I’m a strong believer in building children’s communication skills and confidence through extending conversations and encouraging them to share their thoughts. My number one goal is for your child to feel encouraged, confident, and uplifted when they leave my classroom.
