We will start class by talking about our favorite things to draw and why we enjoy drawing them. Students will learn how to add life to any drawing with the use of shading using bold marks and dark lines. There are many different techniques. This class will focus on four basic types of shading styles, hatching, cross-hatching, contouring, and my favorite - SCRIBBLING!
Please have a few pieces of paper and a pencil ready! No special pencil required unless already available. Everything in this lesson can be practiced with a standard #2 pencil.
