Sentence by Sentence: Building Paragraphs

In this writing enrichment class, learners (ages 11-14) will develop essential writing skills by practicing sentence structure and paragraph organization. Each week features new activities focused on grammar, sentence variety, and how sentences connect to form cohesive paragraphs. Learners can join anytime, as each session stands alone with fresh topics and exercises.

This class focuses on building strong sentences and well-structured paragraphs, including:

• Sentence types (simple, compound, complex)

• Topic sentences & supporting details

• Effective transitions

• Writing with clarity & flow

• Sentence Perfecting Practice – Learners will refine sentence structure, improve clarity, and explore sentence variety.
