Students will establish great flute posture, embouchure, tone, articulation, and will learn how to read notes on the staff and rhythms fluently. Students will also work on flute repertoire, phrasing, and musicality.

Daily practice is required for this course and for learners to get the best experience possible! Beginners are expected to practice at least 15-20 minutes a day and intermediate level students will increase their practice time depending on the age/level of the student.授業以外に週あたり 1 - 2 時間の学習が期待されます

Student and teacher will work together to choose appropriate exercises and activities for weekly instruction and practice. This may include a flute method book and/or pneumo pro (practice device) to be purchased by the learner. If students are unable to purchase materials, alternative materials can be provided.
