In this 6 week Flex class, young learners will be able to practice the beginnings of conversational Spanish. Most conversation starts with an introduction and several starting questions. We will go over 5 of those and their possible responses before wrapping up the last class with a full conversation utilizing the words and phrases learned in the 5 previous classes. 
I will include visual aids as well as provide positive correction for pronunciation. 
By the end of this class, students will have learned simple conversation starters and gained confidence in their Spanish conversational skills.
Class One: Greetings and Introductions. In this class we will learn to introduce ourselves, and ask the names of others. We will learn "How are you?" and several appropriate answers. Students will upload a video introducing themselves and asking someone else what their name is. Each student will watch and respond to the most recent video. Students will complete a homework sheet for practice and upload a photo or screenshot.

Class Two: Verbs. We will learn "What are you doing?" and how to answer that with a few verbs and activities. Students will play charades. Each student will upload a video silently acting out 3 actions and then ask what someone is doing.. Then each student will chose one other video to respond to and post a video saying what that learner's 3 actions were. Students will complete a homework sheet for practice and upload a photo or screenshot.

Class Three: Places. We will learn "Where are you going?" and a number of location names. Students will complete a crossword as well as upload an audio or video practicing the words. Students will complete a homework sheet for practice and upload a photo or screenshot.

Class Four: People. We will learn "Who are you going with?" and the titles of family members and other important people. Students will complete a Kahoot! Quiz. Students will complete a homework sheet for practice and upload a photo or screenshot.

Class Five: Transportation. We will learn "How will you get there?" and the terms for different forms of travel. Students will each upload a video saying somewhere that they go and how they get there. Then they will choose two other videos from other students that go to a similar place (i.e. they both go to the store) and how they get to that place. Students will complete a homework sheet for practice and upload a photo or screenshot.

Class Six: Let's Talk! Students will wrap up this final class with conversations and activities to bring together all that they learned in the other classes. Students will complete a complete at least 2 Quizlet activities that cover all of the vocabulary from class and upload a photo or screenshot of how they did. I will post a video that has several practice activities with questions that need to be answered. Students will upload a response video to my questions and ask a question of their own. Students will choose 2 videos and respond to the other students' questions and say goodbye!
