Lesson 4
The Distributive Property
In this 13 minute video your child will learn how to apply the concept of the distributive property.
Learning how to multiply using parentheses is an essential skill in mastering algebra.          Example : -6(x -7) becomes -6x + 42

Lesson 5
The Distributive Property and Collecting Like Terms.
In this 19 minute video your child will be reinforcing the skills learned  lesson 4 and applying skills learned in lessons 1 to 3, through the use of longer examples. The concept of collecting like terms will be introduced.

  Example :  3(z +5) + 4(z -7)  becomes 7z -28

Lesson 6
The Rules of Exponents.
In this 19 minute video your child will be reinforcing the skills learned in lessons 1 to 3. The concept of working with exponents is introduced.Exponents is usually an area of difficulty for many students.

Example: (x ^ 3) ( x ^ 5).   ( z^4 ) /( z^2)  ( p^3) ^5  etc.

Multiplying Binomials.

Lesson 10
Division of Polynomials.
In this 19 minute video your child will learn to divide polynomials by monomials,  this is an extended version of the concepts learned in lesson 6. (rules of exponents). This skill will enhance and reinforce concepts learned.
