This class is for beginners and learners new to coding. Students will learn to do basic coding using the app. Scratch Jr. Each week we will do a new challenge/ lesson to add to our coding skills. We will go to the app and break it down by exploring each function. I will break it down into simple steps by modeling it step by step as students follow along and create a slide. After I model each step, students will make their own project to share. . The coding app., Scratch Jr,  should be downloaded before class. This can be done using an iPad or laptop. If  you use an iPad you can go to the app. store and download Scratch Jr. It is a free app.This is a very hands-on class with lots of interacting.as we will walk through the coding process using Scratch Jr. 

It works best if you have the app. downloaded on one device, and have another device setup to watch the lesson. However, it can be done on one device.
