I am a middle school and high school math and science teacher with 10 years of experience. Additionally, I am a homeschooling dad of 13+years who has four kids that are four different types of learners. I have the privilege to teach many subject areas, but biology & chemistry are my favorite as they applies to all other areas of science. My opinion is that if a student understands the these major concepts, other sciences become more clear. I hold a MS and BS in the natural sciences.
-A student microscope is recommended by not necessary. Students can watch me demonstrate microcopy skills so that they are familar later when then use a microscope. If the learner has a microscope they can watch AND complete the skills with me. -blank slides and eye dropper/pipette.
