In this 3-week course, we will use a combination of lecture and collaborative problem-solving to explore key strategies to solve the trickiest questions on the new digital SAT Reading/Writing test. Students will work through Mind the Test's realistic SAT questions as a class, with lots of opportunities to explain their reasoning and ask questions. Week 1 will cover the trickiest problem types categorized as Information and Ideas. Week 2 covers Craft and Structure as well as Expression of Ideas. Week 3 covers Grammar, also called Standard English Conventions. Each class will have optional homework for students to extend their learning if they so choose.
