Whether you are a first timer at taking the SAT or you have experience taking the exam already this is great prep class. In this class we will do practice problems together to raise & keep student's confidence high for the math portion of the SAT. The practice problems we will do together will consist of Algebra 1 & Algebra 2 problem topics such as: - combining like terms - solving inequalities - equations of lines - systems of equations - writing the equation of a function model - solving complex proportions and many other types of problems We will also discuss test taking strategies and get an understanding of SAT standards such as: - the format of the SAT - how the SAT is scored - what colleges will do with SAT scores - more ways to prepare for the SAT and many other types of questions

Students will learn how to solve test problems with confidence and get a general understanding of PSAT/SAT standardsThis class teaches students how to use test time wisely so they can get the best use of their allotted test time for a great score

For best results in this class students should get a writing tablet/pad they can use with their computer. These tablets/pads are very affordable (starting at roughly $20 on Amazon) and will allow me to see how a student works through a math problem. If a student is not able to get a writing tablet/pad that is ok they can still get GREAT value from this class. The writing tablet/pad simply gives me greater visibility on how a student thinks and works through solving various math problems
