In this class, students will study and learn the bass parts of iconic songs from the dawn of rock and roll. Students will analyze and learn to play the classic bass lines of proto- rockers such as Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and other artists. Introducing new songs each week we’ll cover the riffs, chord progression, theory, history and structure of each song. I’ll use lecture/demonstration and give individual feedback handouts.
