What Will Be Taught?

Roblox Studio: Students will learn how to navigate Roblox Studio, manipulate the interface, and use essential tools to create and design game elements.
Lua Coding: Through project-based learning, students will understand how to code using Lua, the programming language of Roblox. They will implement in-game mechanics like leaderboards, tools, points systems, and interactive features.

Roblox Account Setup & Studio Installation: Guide students through creating a Roblox account and installing Roblox Studio.
Navigating Roblox Studio: Learn how to use basic and advanced tools, including camera controls, Explorer, Properties, and Terrain Editor.
Terrain Creation: Build and design environments like islands, jungles, and more.
Coding with Lua: Implement scripts to add functionality to your game, such as tool creation, leaderboards, and interactive game mechanics.

Class Structure:

 Ms. Ashley will demonstrate key game design and coding concepts, step by step.
Hands-on activities: Students will follow along, building and coding within Roblox Studio in real time.
