Learners can join at any point and work through all 44 lessons, or stay for as long as their schedule allows. Teaching Approach: Each session will feature an engaging and interactive Google Slides or Nearpod presentation. Students will actively participate by matching, drawing, dissecting, and writing about the grammar concept being taught. Along with the interactive presentation, learners will leave each week with notes and examples in their interactive grammar notebook. Lessons will be structured around demonstration, prompts, and individual practice to ensure sustained engagement and comprehension. Additional Resources: Supplementary materials such as helpful posters and activity sheets will be provided before and after each class. These resources offer extra opportunities for practice and reinforce the material covered during class. Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy aligns with Benjamin Franklin's wisdom: "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." I believe that active participation and hands-on learning are key to mastering grammar concepts. Instructor's Experience: With a decade of experience as an educator in multiple subjects, I bring a wealth of knowledge to each class. I recognize the importance of personalized learning and can quickly adapt to accommodate the diverse needs of my students, adjusting the pace to meet the requirements of the classroom. Prerequisites: To excel in this course, students should have a strong understanding of grammar fundamentals acquired during their elementary school education. This foundation will ensure they are well-prepared for the more advanced concepts covered in Middle School Grammar. *I also offer a similar grammar class at a 2nd-4th grade level *I also offer a similar grammar class at a 4th-6th grade level A few important things to note: ☞Please ensure that your learner has a grammar notebook and a pencil for each class. In most lessons, an activity sheet will need to be printed for the class. If this is the case, I will provide at least 24 hours' notice. ☞Please be aware that I am constantly brainstorming new ideas and concepts to benefit your learner, so additional grammar topics and class dates may be added in the future. ☞This is an ongoing class, meaning learners can join at any point as content doesn't build off of each other. 📌Week of October 7th: Verb Tenses Lesson 1 In this class, learners will explore the nuances of verb tenses, delving into the usage and structure of present, past, and future tenses.
