What will be taught? Students will explore Modern World History from the Enlightenment to the present, developing historical thinking skills and examining how global events and movements have shaped our world today. What topics will you cover? Topics include the Enlightenment, revolutions, industrialization, imperialism, world wars, genocide, the Cold War, decolonization, globalization, environmental challenges, and the rise of modern rights movements. How is your class structured? The class follows a 28-week structure with one major concept per week. Each week includes guided lessons, primary and secondary sources, historical analysis, and interactive elements. How will you teach? Lessons are delivered through slides, short lectures, discussions, and interactive activities. Students work with multimedia resources and engage in simulations, document analysis, and creative assignments. What's your teaching style? My teaching style is engaging, energetic, and student-centered. I use storytelling, visuals, and real-world connections to bring history to life and make it relevant and memorable. How much will learners get to interact with you? Learners will interact with me regularly through class discussions, debates, Q&A sessions, project feedback, and collaborative activities. I provide personalized guidance and support throughout the course.
