The ability to write a good persuasive essay is a skill that students will need throughout their years in school and beyond. In this class students will improve writing skills with step by step guidance and feedback. It is a flexible schedule class: we do rely on live meetings but will instead communicate through videos, messages, slides and assignments...
Students will learn to write a well formatted 2 page persuasive essay in a step by step process. Students will learn about the process of brainstorming, researching and citing sources, outlining, proofreading, writing a paper in MLA format, and offering productive helpful peer feedback.
Students will need internet access for the course and aligned research. Students will need to scan assignment to hand in for class.
