The journey that many students began in "Introduction to Piano Fundamentals" finds its highest level here in "Recital Ready". At this point, we may leave the method books for a while and step into Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, and Chopin pieces. It is my goal to outline the technique and theory benchmarks required to play these challenging pieces.

The class is set up as an alternative to private lessons and is priced as such. This is a unique experience in piano education for children and I think it will grow to exceptional heights. That said, it is highly encouraged that learners have studied with me previously and have completed the following courses:

I would like to keep each group as a learning pod so that once a class reaches 5-6 learners these students remain together. If fewer than 5 learners happen to be enrolled due to drops, new additions will need to take private lessons before being added to an ongoing group that has been together for more than 2 months. This ensures that the learning experience remains consistent for all learners and that no one is left behind. 

I have developed a systematic approach to classical piano studies that begins once chord inversions have been mastered and Two-part piano reading skills have been acquired.

Phase 3- Moonlight Sonata 1st Movement

The pieces we study will cover a variety of composers but with a special emphasis on Beethoven and Mozart. In the most advanced phases, we will play Chopin's pieces and the truly transcendent 32 Sonatas by Beethoven. This is going to be a delight and I cannot wait to see what your learners will accomplish.
