In this tutoring session, sudents will have the freedom to ask any question they may have and if needed, they will learn the foundations of making inferences from text. This is a private tutoring session for beginners. The students are shown a visual display of the process through PowerPoint slides as I explain helpful ways to look for clues, combined with the student's current knowledge which we will talk through. The students are also welcome to ask specific questions about assignments they are already working on through other sources. If the students have questions about other school assignments, we will address those with as much time as is helpful. If not, I will demonstrate one simple example using PowerPoint slides, followed by giving the students opportunities to walk through the processes with individual sentences. The students will be encouraged to share their thoughts throughout the time. Their thoughts are a great way to gauge their level of understanding and talk through different possibilities.

I have a Bachelors of Science with a focus on Health Science (Exercise Physiology) and fitness certifications for groups and individuals. I have loved teaching fitness and health and nutrition concepts to children, and at the college level.
