In this class, students will learn how to draw a rainbow cake with step-by-step instructions. This is a beginner drawing class, no experience is needed. If we have any extra time, we will begin to color our artwork together during class. This class is great for beginners and will be filled with lots of fun and encouragement. I like to keep my students unmuted to encourage classroom conversation. At the end of the class, students will be given the opportunity to share their drawings with the rest of the class if they choose to do so. This is not a requirement.

My name is Teacher Shannon from New York. I am an enthusiastic teacher who provides a warm and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning. I hold a B.S. in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. My experience includes clinical experience in San Francisco, California. I have 15 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings.
This is my first year teaching fun drawing classes for all ages. My classes are a great opportunity for language immersion! Engaging in arts and social interaction can boost confidence and make us feel more engaged and resilient.
Drawing also plays a big role in cognitive development. Drawing helps children to write and think creatively, develop hand-eye coordination, hone analytical skills, and conceptualize ideas. I look forward to helping mold your child into a creative, life-long learner!
