このクラスで学べること
Students will learn the concept of the Pythagoren Theorem using a right triangle and its legs & hypotenuse.. They will apply these real life scenarios to examples given and solve for the missing leg. We will then do the same thing when solving for the hypotenuse. This lesson is meant to introduce, practice and extend. Students will leave the lesson with notes organized in a manner that they will be able to come back to them for any future assignments they might have.
The goal of this lesson is to have students identify and solve for the legs and hypotenuse of a right triangle using real life examples.
This is a lesson that I have taught in a private tutoring session and in a public school setting, and I have seen how students struggle to identify the variables needed to master this concept as well as any misconceptions regarding this lesson. This allows me adjust the lesson to individual needs.
