This class is for students with some experience using the Procreate app for iPad. Ideally, students will have taken my Procreate 101 class before taking this class. Students will learn in a small group and by step-by-step instructions. No art skill is required for this course. Students will complete this class knowing how to use clipping masks and how to use the selection and adjustment tools to add texture and dimension to their previously made portraits.

    * How to add and edit text
    * How to use “layers”
    * How to use the clipping mask tool
    * How to use the selection tool
    * How to use the transformation tool 
    * How to insert a reference photo
    * How to use the Gaussian blur adjustment to create shadows
    * Some handy Procreate shortcuts

Student Materials Needed:
*iPad with the Procreate Drawing App ($9.99 in the App Store) installed.
*Stylus - An Apple Pencil is best, but any stylus can be used.
*An already-drawn portrait done by the learner in Procreate (with different elements of the portrait on separate layers)
*Some pictures that the learner would like to use in their portrait saved onto the iPad camera roll (pictures that feature different textures are great).
*A separate device for the learner to take class with so that they can follow along on their iPad as we explore Procreate.
