-Instrument parts (including accessories)
-How to get into the proper playing position
-Exploring the difference between pizzicato and arco
-How to read notes on the staff
-How to read rhythms

-Discussion of any pervious experience/goals (new students)
-Warm up (scales, note reading, etudes, bow development exercises)
-Working through music selections (dynamics, articulations, phrasing, bowings, fingerings)
