Violinists will enhance their ability to make music in accordance with their own desire to hone their skills as a musician.

I have over 16 years of violin experience, have performed in over a dozen ensembles and have a degree in music with an emphasis in violin.

It is expected that each musician will practice in between lessons. Expectations will be set based on the student's age and ability level, but will not exceed a requirement of more than thirty minutes per day, five days per week at the very most, for the more experienced violinists.

Assessments are informal, with immediate feedback and constructive criticism given throughout the lesson.

If the student has this book, we will use Ivan Galamian and Frederick Neumann's Contemporary Violin Technique Volume One (Parts 1 & 2) for scale and arpeggio exercises. We will also utilize Kreutzer 42 Studies for Violin as our source for etudes.
