The goal of this class is to help your learner learn or practice identification (both written and auditory) and pronunciation of phonics sounds and/or reading skills and/or expressive/receptive language skills and/or auditory skills such as comprehension, memory, discrimination, etc. and/or learn/practice English as a Second Language.

Over the past 31+ years I have helped children and teens from ages 2 to 19 improve their speech, language, auditory, phonics, reading, and brain fitness skills and much more. I have a wide range of experience that includes teaching those on the autism spectrum, learning disabled students, add/adhd and many more areas of concern, as well as, experience teaching regular and gifted learners. I have found that patient encouragement in a structured and energetic yet relaxed classroom environment help students brains focus to receive information better and helps them become detail oriented students. I have spent many years enjoying my time working in both public and private schools as well as in a Wellness Center providing brain fitness training. I also hold a TESOL certificate and have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) online. During 15 of those years, I loved also homeschooling my own children (most grades K2-12) until they graduated high school. During our homeschool years, I helped teach a variety of classes to homeschool students of all ages who were involved in co-ops. I have both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and received a Class A (Master's level) teaching certification N-12. I am also an Interactive Metronome Certified Provider (IMCP). Interactive Metronome (IM) is a computer based brain fitness training program.
