Help your child to grow in confidence, make progress and thrive with 1:1 tuition in a fun, welcoming and engaging class. Lessons are tailored to your child’s needs and interests. I am a highly experienced primary teacher who has worked with a wide range of different needs in the classroom and online. I provide a patient, supportive and fun atmosphere for learning, engaging children through their own interests. Does your child have any gaps in their learning you wish to address? Do they need homework support or a boost in confidence with certain areas of learning? I can offer tailored 1:1 private tuition to work on the areas your child needs to focus on. Book now for personalised tuition by an experienced and professional primary school tutor. Times can be arranged upon request through private message. I can offer tuition to develop phonics, reading, english and maths. Lessons can also focus on homework support if this is needed. Important information: If a student is more than 10 minutes late, it will be considered a missed class, per Outschool policy and the class is not eligible for a refund. If the student needs to cancel class, I will reschedule if possible or issue a refund, as long as I am notified more than 24 hours in advance. Exceptions may be made in emergency situations. If I as a teacher have a scheduling conflict, I will either contact you to reschedule for a different time or issue a refund.

Hello everyone! My name is Catherine and I am an experienced primary school teacher from the UK. I have a BA Honours degree in Structured Textiles and a PGCE degree in Primary Education. For the last 7 years I have been a certified teacher of early years education.
I currently teach part time in a primary school. During the rest of the week I teach here on Outschool.
I am up to date with the current curriculum requirements and I have extensive experience of teaching synthetic phonics, mathematics and mindfulness lessons using a scheme called Mind Up in my Primary School.
I absolutely love teaching on this platform and having the opportunity to meet young learners from all over the world. It is my passion to provide fun and engaging learning opportunities whilst helping children to grow in confidence and believe in themselves.
I offer a caring and welcoming learning environment where I help children to feel happy and safe. I am a motivated, enthusiastic and loving teacher who will help your child to grow in confidence whilst having fun learning new things.
My specialism is teaching literacy through synthetic phonics and I am excited to offer a variety of fun phonics lessons in which children can become secure in recognising letters and their sounds. Children will use multi sensory approaches to learn phonics through exciting games and learning activities.
I love spending time outdoors and visiting new places with my family. I am a Mum to a toddler who is turning 3 this year. She loves exploring the world around her and it is beautiful to see her excitement as she is learning about her world.
