Students will be required to keep an assignment notebook to mark down the material introduced/reviewed from week to week. Practice length varies by student, but the goal is mastery of the skill involved (steady beat, note accuracy, hand technique, performance speed, etc.)テスト
Students progress through their books by completing assignments. I will be your piano teacher! We will start at your level, even at the beginning, and you will learn how to play the piano. This includes learning finger numbers, the music alphabet, the keyboard, notation, dynamics, articulation, expression, theory, ear training, and technique. Lessons are structured to build on concepts, so with time and practice, your skill as a pianist will grow! Common course materials I teach from include: Faber Piano Adventures, Piano Pronto, Succeeding At the Piano, and Piano Town. Once we meet together and I see your level and age, I will suggest which materials to purchase, if needed.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music education in 2009, and I've been a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) since 2014.
I enjoy sharing my love for music with my students & and helping them to learn invaluable music skills which they can keep their whole life long! I like to use analogies and real-world applications to help make fun learning connections for students.
