Learning a musical instrument is fun, fulfilling, and challenging. Through music lessons, students explore a wide variety of musical styles and sounds, and learn how to express and interpret emotions. Lessons are available for guitar, piano, voice, ukulele, and banjo. It's easy to learn when you are having fun! That's why we teach the fundamentals of music through the songs that students love. Some of the concepts we will learn are: Proper playing and singing posture How to hold, tune, and take care of our instruments and voices How to read rhythms and notes on a musical staff and in tablature How to sight-sing and recognize solfeggi hand symbols How to play and sing familiar songs to warm up the hands and/or voice How to play major scales and arpeggios How to read chord charts and lyric sheets How to play your favorite songs and have fun!
