Private chess lessons are the most effective ways to target where students can improve their skills, deepen their understanding, and develop strategic thinking! 

In these personalized sessions, we will focus on areas that best support the student's growth in chess, whether they are beginners learning the basics or advanced players refining their strategies. 

I also offer lessons in French, so students can learn in the language they are most comfortable with or if they wish to practice these languages. 

Some ideas of what we can cover from beginner to more advanced: 
✔ Chess Fundamentals – Rules, piece movement, and basic strategy 
✔ Openings & Middlegame Plans – Learn effective openings and how to build a strong position 
✔ Tactics & Endgame Mastery – Improve calculation, pattern recognition, and checkmating skills 
✔ Game Analysis – Review past games to identify strengths and areas for improvement 
✔ Visualization & Strategic Thinking – Train the mind to see moves ahead and anticipate opponents' plans 
✔ Tournament preparation
If a student has a specific area of focus—whether it's preparing for a tournament, improving against a particular opponent, or mastering a specific opening—I will tailor each lesson accordingly.
