The goal for students taking private one-on-one tutoring is for students to leave the session with a strong understanding of the material being taught. Students will be taught in a way that they will be able to retain and apply it accurately. Math is one of the essential core subjects taught in schools and students normally find math challenging. Each session will be structured in a way for students to feel welcomed and engaged in the content. Recommendation for parents to provide learner's math understanding prior to the session. The more information provided the better to help ensure the effectiveness for each session. We ask that parents send a message regarding which mathematical topics their child is struggling with at least 24 hours in advance so the teacher can curate a custom learning plan for the student. Helpful Information: 1. What grade is he/she in? 2. What doesn't your learner like about math? 3. What does your learner like about math? 4. What are the areas of concern? 5. What is your goal for this session? (homework help, extend lessons, test prep, etc.) Learners are required to reach out ahead of time with the work they have or concepts on which they want to work. If they do not do so prior to 48 hours before the session, the teacher can reach out to reschedule If you do not see a time that works for your schedule, please reach out! We are happy to schedule a time that works best for you.
